We never compromise
We are one of London’s leading hospitals with a world-class reputation, but our roots lie in the heart of our community.
We have a strong profile of local services primarily serving the boroughs of Lambeth, Southwark and Lewisham.
Every day we care for patients from some of the most deprived communities in the capital, and from some of the wealthiest. Our globally-renowned specialties – including liver, diabetes, and sickle cell – are largely driven by the health problems of our ethnically diverse community.
Because we’re a provider of local healthcare services, a leading teaching hospital, and a world-class centre for specialist treatment, we offer the chance to progress your training and career in a number of ways. And as we continue to develop our services, you’ll find new opportunities to broaden your skills and experience.
King’s College Hospital is in Camberwell, south-east London, on a busy road lined with a variety of shops and restaurants. It is in London travel zone 2, near two overground rail stations and numerous bus routes. It has easy links to central London, and many of the capital’s most popular destinations are under 30 minutes away.
